Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain connections with elected officials, appointed representatives, and government agencies at all levels, including military contacts.
- Coordinate advocacy and lobbying initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
- Analyze policy proposals to identify potential opportunities and risks for the organization.
- Seek and develop external funding sources to support current and future projects.
- Enhance the organization's visibility by actively engaging in health policy discussions and initiatives.
A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
At least three years of relevant experience is necessary. Experience working in a legislative office or within the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Strong mental focus and attention to detail, even under pressure and interruptions.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and stoop as needed.
- Good vision, hearing, finger dexterity, and full use of hands and arms.
- Proficiency with computers and excellent customer service skills, including patience in challenging situations.
