Surveillance Operator

The Surveillance Operator is responsible for observing all operational gaming and surrounding areas to report procedural infractions and criminal activity to the appropriate person/department.

Essential duties and responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of work stations and equipment, performing close watch duties as assigned, maintaining familiarity with gaming law, regulations, company policies, and procedures, receiving periodic on-the-job training, diligently monitoring all company assets as well as monitoring all Team Members for procedural violations, maintaining up to the minute, detailed, and accurate logs, ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the property's BSA policy, monitoring for suspicious transactions as defined by the BSA, and all other duties assigned.

Required skills and abilities include individual proficiencies as it relates to job duties and responsibilities, maintaining interpersonal working relationships among personnel, oral and written communication skills, and willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.

Education and experience include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred one (1) year of surveillance or related experience, and ability to obtain a valid Racing License.

Physical requirements and working conditions include sitting or standing, walking, using hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, talking or hearing, and being subjected to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
