This position is responsible for collecting, maintaining, and analyzing complex data sets to support data-driven decision-making across the agency.Minimum Qualifications Six years of experience in accounting, budgeting, contracts, economics, engineering, finance, financial auditing, grants, human resources, information technology, management analysis, operational auditing, policy planning, procurement, social services, statistical analysis, tax collections, or tax enforcement; ORSix years of experience in any field plus three years of experience in accounting, budgeting, contracts, economics, engineering, finance, financial auditing, grants, human resources, information technology, management analysis, operational auditing, policy planning, procurement, social services, statistical analysis, tax collections, or tax enforcement; ORA bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in accounting, budgeting, contracts, economics, engineering, finance, financial auditing, grants, human resources, information technology, management analysis, operational auditing, policy planning, procurement, social services, statistical analysis, tax collections, or tax enforcement; ORAn advanced degree plus two years of experience in accounting, budgeting, contracts, economics, engineering, finance, financial auditing, grants, human resources, information technology, management analysis, operational auditing, policy planning, procurement, social services, statistical analysis, tax collections, or tax enforcement.EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.Job Specification The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: Collects, maintains and analyzes complex data sets to support data-driven decision-making across the agency.Cleaning and validating data, identifying trends and patterns, and generating actionable insights.Collaborate with program areas to define clear data requirements and deliver analytics that align with agency objectives.Develops dashboards, reports, and visualization to effectively communicate finding to stakeholders.Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Job AppointmentWork Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for.
