Summary
DescriptionSpiral Solutions & Technologies, Inc. (SS&T) is seeking a Wing Scheduler to provide unit-level, long-range scheduling support to an AFGSC bomber Operations Group as an optional CME line under the BSOS task order. Unlike squadron-level schedulers, this role focuses on wing-wide mission planning rather than individual aircrew requirements.
Location: One of five AFGSC CONUS installations (Barksdale AFB, LA (2 BW/2 OG, B-52); Minot AFB, ND (5 BW/5 OG, B-52); Whiteman AFB, MO (509 BW/509 OG, B-2); Dyess AFB, TX (7 BW/7 OG, B-1); or Ellsworth AFB, SD (28 BW/28 OG, B-1))
Schedule: Full-Time
Clearance: Secret (active or previously held/expired, not revoked)
Contract Status: Optional CME position - funded only if the Operations Group elects to fund additional Wing Scheduling support and if funding becomes available
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive long-range scheduling system, including prioritization of tankers and agile combat employment operations
• Collaborate with operational units to align long-term mission planning with organizational objectives
• Ensure optimization of resources and strategic alignment with tenant units such as AFRC and ANG and broader AFGSC goals
• Analyze historical mission data to enhance future planning and generate detailed reports for Operations Group leadership
• Provide training to Operations Group personnel on the long-range scheduling system and facilitate knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications
• Secret clearance, active or previously held (expired, not revoked)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a squadron aircrew scheduler
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program
• U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting wing-level or group-level scheduling rather than solely squadron-level scheduling
• Experience aligning scheduling with agile combat employment or tanker prioritization frameworks
Security Clearance Requirements
Applicants must hold a minimum SECRET clearance (active or expired/not revoked) and be U.S. citizens. Personnel lacking an active clearance may be considered on a case-by-case basis if eligible and if paperwork is submitted expeditiously.
