Ahold Delhaize USA associates support the brands with a wide range of services, including Finance, Legal, Sustainability, Commercial, Digital and E-commerce, Technology and more.OverviewThe Private Brands Center Store Sourcing Analyst is responsible for leading sourcing events, negotiating cost changes and executing contractual documents. This role partners with Private Brand Category Development, Category Management Teams, and other key stakeholders within the Private Brand hub to assist the development of the private brand business plan and objectives, delivering upon the need of the business while leveraging our size and scale in support of overall financial goals. The Sourcing Analyst is required to know their categories and develop & maintain strong relationships with the supplier community. All responsibilities within the role are to provide quality products, secure supply and provide great value to the customers of our Great Local Brands.**Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Private Brand Category Management and Development Teams, and other key stakeholders as a subject matter expert for Private Brand sourcing and their assigned categories to assist the development of the private brand business plan and objectives delivering, upon the needs of the business in leveraging size and scale in support of overall financial goals.Project Planning & Management: Develop and oversee PB sourcing projection completion and negotiation, ensuring alignment with scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Manage key project calendar and deliverables (e.g., RFx, Direct Negotiation, Contract Extension etc) and ensure financial expectations are met.Develop and apply in-depth analysis and understanding of key business levers and commodity knowledge (i.e. costs, logistics contract terms, payment terms, assortment mix) to identify the insights and opportunities that drive financial results for ADUSA and understands how they impact the business and the supplier community.Manage and execute required legal documents adhering to legal requirements and standards (NDA, award letters, master supply agreement and schedules, discontinuance, and termination letters).Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and uphold company values.Sourcing Analysts are expected to complete day-to-day work autonomously and with minimal supervision within the ADUSA bill of authority.Continuous Improvement: Lead training, onboarding, and skill development initiatives for new Private Brands associates, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team. Refine and improve sourcing processes, challenging traditional engagement models with Private Brand Suppliers to drive better outcomes. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and overall sourcing effectiveness.Personal Development & Continuous Learning: Maintain an Individual Development Plan, participate in ongoing learning and training opportunities, and adapt to evolving business needs.Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and uphold company values.RequirementsApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment.Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience).3-5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, negotiations, category management, vendor management, or related fields.Solid understanding of industry trends, supplier landscape, and market dynamics.Strong track record of driving successful negotiations and achieving win-win outcomes.Skilled in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing contracts to ensure compliance and value.Exceptional communication and presentation abilities across all organizational levels.Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Proven leadership capabilities with a talent for collaboration, motivation, and influencing without direct authority.Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and deliver with consistency.Experienced in project management, from planning to execution and delivery.Strategic thinker with strong planning and problem-solving skills.Resourceful in independently identifying challenges and recommending effective solutions.Self-driven, goal-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.Adept at conflict management and resolution, maintaining professionalism under pressure.#J-18808-Ljbffr
