Summary
Senior Procurement Specialist
Position Overview:
The Senior Procurement Specialist will assist the Acquisition Policy Division Director in providing required team leadership and guidance, program management vision; consult with senior leadership as needed in support of Enterprise Services – Acquisition (ES-A) day to day operations. Senior Acquisition Policy Division Lead shall provide the Acquisition Policy Division Director with qualified and experience and all supervision to its personnel ensuring each of the task areas below:
Responsibilities:
- Innovation, Quality and Strategic Planning and execution of Acquisitions
- Process Management and Improvement
- Knowledge Management
- Acquisition Workforce Management Support
- Commerce Acquisition Policy and FAR policy implementation support
- Performance Planning and Metrics Support
- Acquisition Quality Assurance and Quality Control support
- Audit Liaison and Tracking
- Purchase Card Management Support
Requirements:
- BA/BS in related fields
- 7+ years of experience at a senior/director level providing Federal Acquisition Policy support
- Active or previously held FAC-C Level III Certification
- Active or previous Federal Contracting Officer preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred, Black Belt Desired
- SSGI Certified Agile Professional (SSGI – CAP) preferred
- Experience and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), CAR, Freedom of Information Act, and other regulatory and policy supplements. Program Management Institute guides and/or Federal Acquisition Institute
