From the exceptional service at the check-in counter to the departure gate, and even behind the scenes making sure your checked bags arrive with you, our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every single day.Job Overview and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the implementation of best practices, strategies and processes which foster optimal performance. Works closely with departmental leadership, internal and external of the group, to optimize Business Office effectiveness across all departments. Leads and mentors coordinators within the Business Office and participates in cross-departmental leadership meetings.Business Office team leader responsible for day-to-day operation of Business Office team or functionAssists managers and supervisors and provides cross-functional support within all areas of the Business OfficeUses data and analysis to determine and evaluate performance across departmentsWorks with operating departments to develop and execute on Business Office Process Improvement projectsParticipates in company investigations, including but not limited to IRM, new hire effortsConducts training and provides development mentoring to level 8 and 9 personnel across the departmentParticipates in leadership meetings as neededQualificationsWhat's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Associate degree or related experience1-2 years leading a team3 years of relevant work experienceMust be able to carry company and customer items long distances across terminalHighly proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)Subject matter expert in Business Office processes and systemsEnthusiasm and passion for the airline industry and working in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environmentHigh level of analytical abilityStrong, demonstrated team leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)Must be flexible and willing to work in an operation which may include weekends and holidaysMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Bachelor's degree or related experienceUndergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Finance,Accounting, or related discipline involving quantitative analysisExperience with resource scheduling applicationsExperience with simulation softwareProject ManagementKnowledge of scheduling toolsContinuous Improvement FamiliarizationProficiency with complex data setsWeb development and data visualization skillsPosting will expire on 09/08/2026The base pay range for this role is $57,784.00 to $70,334.00.The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills.
