Summary

Detention Operations Analyst

Serve as Detention Operations Analyst conducting reviews of policies and procedures to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and gaps throughout the organization.

Lead the development and implementation of organizational solutions to fully ensure detention operations meet the level of efficiency and effectiveness to be fully operational.

Implement staff elements to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance and effective use of the program resources to include personnel, budget, research, and development programs.

Provide responsive detention-related reports, records, and requested information to numerous departments and agencies.

Research and develop strategic initiatives designed to enhance detention operations and interagency relationships.

Advise leadership to ensure procedures remain consistent with governing laws, directives, and authorities.

Review detention and standing operating procedures and provide recommended changes to the appropriate detention operations staff.

Determine and validate annual force requirements and submission guidance for detention operations.

Participate in Global Force Management meetings to advocate for joint resources.

Coordinate conferences with personnel to establish training requirements to ensure forces are ready to accomplish missions upon arrival.

Schedule distinguished visitors tours of detention facilities.

Develop administrative regulations and guidelines for conducting long-range program operations.
