Job Description: Open-Source AnalystOverview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an Open-Source Analyst to provide supportive services for our government client. This position will be performed on-site.The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:Provide on-site support to participate in daily operations, ensuring continuous collaboration with leadership and managing day to day tasks.Participate in establishment activities, security threat assessments and other vetting activities.Analyze the deep web using information technology tools to identify transportation links.Apply expert knowledge of identity resolution concepts and techniques.Conduct vetting and security threat assessments related to insider threats.Utilize publicly available social media and other non-conventional data sources for analysis.Independently produce written assessments, graphical representations of findings, source documentation, and summary briefings.Apply knowledge of key Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) focus areas, including watch-listing, vetting, counterterrorism, transportation infrastructure, and open-source information such as social media.Minimum Qualifications:Must be a US Citizen.Bachelor's degree required in a related field of study; Master's Degree preferred.Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.Written and verbal communication skills, to include presentation development for senior ranking Government officials.Previous exposure to or experience with some or all the relevant analytic tools such as Analyst's Notebook, or other open source or commercially deployed network mapping and correlation tools.Experience working closely with, or in, government organizations.Must have 4 or more years of experience in the above list of responsibilities.Primary work location: On-siteTravel Expectations: Travel is required for this position.Position Type: On-site Work Schedule, Salaried position.EEO Employer/Protected Veteran/Disabled.Ecompex is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
