This is a hands‑on role for a detail‑obsessed, ethically minded diamond professional who loves the behind‑the‑scenes magic of sourcing exceptional stones. You'll work closely with vendors and internal teams to manage diamond sourcing workflows in a fast‑paced production environment—bringing sharp gemological instincts, strong relationship‑building skills, and a deep respect for where and how diamonds are sourced.Key Duties and Responsibilities Source diamonds and gemstones for clients using VDB and RapnetPrice stones based on the memo pricingIdentify and describe the quality and characteristics of natural diamonds and gemstonesCommunicate professionally and effectively with suppliers on sourcing and custom‑cutting stonesCollaborate with the sales, procurement, and production team to ensure the timely delivery of diamonds.Set up trade accounts with new suppliersPrep diamonds for client appointments as neededProvide stone updates to suppliersEscalate credit issues to the returns teamRequirements and Experience GIA Gemologist degree preferredFamiliar use of VDB, RapnetProper diamond and gemstone knowledge and vocabularyExcellent communication and written skillsTeam‑oriented and able to get along with a diverse group of individualsFamiliar with both lab and natural diamondsProficient computer skills (Excel, online search databases)Attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and multitaskJob Details Full‑time on‑site role located in Tribeca, NYCOffice hours are 9 AM to 5 PMAvailable schedules: Monday - FridaySalary: 50-60KBenefits Equity Compensation.
