Summary

Early Warning Detection Investigator will be responsible for conducting comprehensive preliminary ("screening") technical reviews on proactive sensing product alerts related to vehicle safety and compliance. The selected candidate will work with/lead cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Product Investigations) to determine the product scope and consequences of potential product issues during preliminary technical reviews of product alerts.Responsibilities:Monitor vehicle data and alerts to spot possible safety or quality problems before they become major issues.Analyze large amounts of data from warranties, repairs, service records, customer complaints, and vehicle performance systems.Investigate potential vehicle defects or trends and determine whether they are real concerns.Work with teams such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, and Product Investigation to understand the issue and its impact.Prepare reports explaining what was found and recommend whether an issue should be escalated for further investigation or closed.Track investigation status and provide updates to management.Help improve the company's data analytics, predictive modeling, and alert systems so future problems can be detected earlier.Must Have Skills:3-5 years of experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources, including field data, warranty data, service data, and customer feedback, with a focus on predictive analytics.Ability to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and inconsistencies and clearly summarize findings.Working knowledge of reporting, data analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, databases, dashboards); ability to learn internal systems quickly.Experience supporting investigations, reporting, or program execution through timely and accurate data preparation.Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Information Systems, or a related technical or quantitative discipline; equivalent experience may be considered. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university; other engineering degrees or related technical degrees with combined experience may be considered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
