Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.QualificationsOne (1) year of relevant experience (public safety, corrections, emergency medical services, military) requiredHigh school diploma/GED requiredValid driver's license requiredValid CT Guard Card requiredAbility to read, write, speak and understand English requiredTwo (2) years of relevant experience preferredBasic First Aid and CPR preferredCrisis Prevention Institute (CPI) preferredManagement of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) preferredMultilingual preferredAbility to exercise discretion and use good judgment to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction based on the current circumstances.Focused on providing an exceptional experience to our patients, customers, staff, organizations, and internal and external partners.Ability to analyze and solve a variety of difficult situations, problem events, emergencies.Attention to detail and ability to handle tasks independently.Basic to intermediate computer and technology skills, electronic tools and resources.
