L1 - Fraud InvestigatorThe role involves monitoring, reviewing, and investigating potentially fraudulent transactions, account activities, and customer behaviors. This position requires performing initial fraud assessments, identifying suspicious patterns, documenting findings, and escalating complex cases to higher investigation levels. The incumbent ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and fraud prevention controls.Required Skills & Qualifications3 years of experience in fraud investigation or a related field.Knowledge of fraud detection tools and case management platforms.Experience with transaction monitoring systems.Understanding of banking products such as Savings, Checking, Credit Cards, Loans, Digital Banking Services.Exposure to Fraud, AML, KYC, or Financial Crime Operations.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with banking systems and payment networks.Knowledge of NACHA, Visa, Client, and ACH processes.Fraud-related certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist).Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesReview alerts generated through fraud monitoring systems.Analyze financial transactions for unusual or suspicious activity.Investigate potential fraud involving Debit/Credit Cards, ACH Transactions, Wire Transfers, Check Fraud, Account Takeover, Identity Theft, and Digital Banking Fraud.Validate customer activity using available tools and data sources.Contact customers when necessary to verify suspicious transactions.Document investigation findings accurately in case management systems.Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Company Benefits & CultureComprehensive health and wellness benefits.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Supportive and inclusive work environment.
