Sr. Public Safety Officer, Armed Overview: Responsible for a variety of routine safety and emergency security activities while safeguarding students, employees, visitors, patients and property. Conducts Public Safety training and development programs. First responder to all emergency incidents within the assigned facility. Responsible for the safe de-escalation of critical events and the use of sound judgment in the engagement with combative or escalating subjects. Functions as an informal resource to colleagues, conducts training and on-boards for new employees.Responsibilities: Responsible for a variety of routine safety and emergency security activities while safeguarding students, employees, visitors, patients and property.
