IntroductionScottsdale Stadium is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Custodians who take pride in creating exceptional environments for guests and staff. In these roles, you’ll help ensure the stadium is clean, safe, and fully prepared for Spring Training, community programs, special events, and year-round operations. Your work helps set the stage for great experiences, memorable events, and a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our gates.
From the concourse to the clubhouse, you’ll help keep every space in top shape so fans, partners, and the Scottsdale community can enjoy a big-league experience.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Performing routine restroom servicing, maintenance, upkeep, and basic repairs to keep facilities running smoothly.
- Cleaning ramadas, sidewalks, patios, restrooms, and drinking fountains using manual tools and water hoses.
- Picking up trash to maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the stadium.
- Applying cleaning agents safely and correctly in accordance with OSHA and City of Scottsdale standards.
- Using brooms, power washers, and other tools to keep assigned areas looking their best.
- Maintaining a clear, detailed written log of tasks completed and time spent to support team efficiency.
This is an entry-level position, but we’re especially excited to meet candidates who bring at least one year of experience working as part of a custodial team at an event venue or facility with a variable schedule.
Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to mid-point depending on candidate’s experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $22.06/hour.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- No education is required for this position.
- Any experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.
- Must possess, at time of application, and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 36 months prior to the start date. The Arizona Motor Vehicle Department requires that out-of-state driver's licenses must be surrendered within 10 days of relocating to the State of Arizona. Note: Graduated Driver’s Licenses are considered restricted.
- Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during their active employment by the city, regardless of whether the employee is approved for remote work.
