2nd- Library Industry: Industrial Job Number: EO274068831 Pay Rate: $19.50 / hour Branch: Fort Wayne : 1705694Job Description Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Library Processor to prepare books and audio-visual materials according to customer specifications for use in public and private libraries. Hours: 4:30pm-1am Sunday-Thursday with OT Pay: $ 19.50 Job Duties Attach spine labels to books and compact discs Sort cards and labels Apply Mylar/Kapco protective covers to book jackets Perform stamping and theft identification procedures Audit processed materials for accuracy and quality Follow all safety guidelines and work instructions Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills At least 6 months of previous work experience Reading and writing skills at a high school level Basic arithmetic skills, including addition and subtraction Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to multitask and adapt to changing workflow demands Ability to meet and maintain production standards Reliable attendance Ability to safely work in a warehouse environment Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Walk and stand continuously throughout the assigned shift Lift and carry up to 35 lbs. Push and pull materials in a warehouse environment, with force requirements up to 45 lbs. Grip and grasp continuously Bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb, crawl, and reach above shoulder level as needed Perform typing and keyboarding as required Work in a range of temperatures Work overtime when required, including time before or after the scheduled shift and/or weekends Work Environment: Warehouse/processing environment with repetitive manual tasks and exposure to varying temperatures.
