Below is a detailed list which includes, but is not limited to, the basic job responsibilities, specifications and qualifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreative, critical thinker, that is self-motivated, has a strong work ethic, and a passion to grow their technical depth and GSE product knowledge.Willingness to develop domain expertise to identify and optimize supply chains for aftermarket products for industrial and automotive parts, primarily for mobile equipment.Gather information around new equipment and understudied fleets to proactively catalog GSE wear and tear items.Work with existing branch locations to train and deploy Sourcing projects and principles to maximize cost savings impact.Assist in location setup to ensure that local vendors are established, national accounts are linked to the local vendor branches, and centralized savings principles are deployed.Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Inventory Control to improve sub-optimized supply chains.Professional work ethic and ability to flex communication style to interact with external stakeholders in a diverse setting (mechanics, customer leadership, etc.).Willingness to work in hands‑on industrial environments, including around heavy equipment, documenting equipment with photographs, and collaborating directly with mechanics.Able to read schematics, including: manuals, parts breakdown lists, blueprints, service bulletins, etc.Optimize vendor base by maximizing usage of world class suppliers within product lines and proactively find alternative supply lines.Achieve and record measurable cost saving through sourcing efforts.Maintain documentation of sourcing process, targets and goals.REQUIREMENTS / REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree preferredPassport requiredHas demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude with mobile equipment (GSE, off-highway vehicles, automotive, material handling, or similar)Ability to thrive in high volume work environmentAbility to lift and handle product weighing up to 25lbsDemonstrated ability to adhere to project timelinesBilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or German is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsPrior Excel skill is a plusRequires up to 50% travel.We stand behind our customers, products, and services as responsibility, support and continuous improvement are the key words which drive our work attitude.
