Unleash your talent and redefine what's possible.As a Contracts Specialist at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and DoD. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in contract management, procurement, and compliance across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in federal contract management, adept at drafting, administering, and supporting complex procurement activities that advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and manage procurement-related documents in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DOD 5000 series, and associated supplements.Coordinate and support Industry Days and other acquisition-related events.Develop requirements documents, including Market Research Reports, Work Statements, CDRLs, CLINs, DD-254s, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Justifications & Approvals, and Determinations & Findings.Provide administrative support for source selection processes.Administer contracts, including preparation of Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, Technical Direction Letters/Instructions, and tracking obligations, expenditures, and deliverables.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational policies.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support successful contract execution and performance.Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree in a related field10+ years of professional experience providing contract management support.Active TS/SCI is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DOD 5000 series, and procurement best practices.Excellent organizational skillsSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00We value our employees and want our employees to take care of their overall wellbeing, which is why we offer best-in-class benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid time off, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and holidays to fit your busy lifestyle!Parsons is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other protected status.
