Summary

Safety And Security OfficerThe Safety and Security Officer perform activities necessary to the provision of a safe and secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors of the hospital and to protect the assets of Community First. At the discretion of the Supervisor, an Officer may also be assigned to perform supervisory duties as the Officer in Charge (O.I.C.).This opportunity is full time: 10:30pm - 7am On Call: Rotation. New Grads Welcome.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMakes rounds, inside and outside of assigned areas as scheduled.Provides assistance to other security personnel, hospital employees, and escorts visitors.Observes and documents the non-conformance of policies and procedures.Accurately completes all paperwork as requiredDemonstrates discretion in handling confidential information.Responds to calls from nursing and other hospital departments in a timely manner.Transports patients in wheelchairs or those using assistive devices.Accepts and releases patient's valuables and lost and found items (per policy) as needed.Responds to requests for additional manpower to cover shift shortages.Community First Medical Center offers benefits to all its full-time and part-time employees: United Healthcare Medical PPO/HMO Plans.
