Position Overview The Home & Accessories Sourcing & Production Analyst owns end-to-end procurement, order placement, and supplier relationship management across all H&A categories. Serving as a key stakeholder to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely product deliveries, availability, accurate master data and operational excellence.Location This position follows a hybrid schedule requiring 4 days in-office at our New York, NY location and 1 day remote.Key Accountabilities Order Placement & Delivery Tracking Owns all purchase order placement activities, including off-cycle purchase orders (e.g., ad hoc orders placed outside the standard monthly replenishment cycle)Communicates purchase orders to suppliers and tracks open-order timelines to ensure timely delivery aligned with business needsOpen Order & Delivery Management Owns open orders and supplier delivery commitments by regularly following up with suppliers on shipment statuses, challenging delays, and escalating risks as neededPulls and reviews open-order reports and inbound shipment statuses with the Manager to identify risks and improvement opportunities, then communicates updates to cross-functional stakeholdersWorks closely with the receiving team at the global distribution centers located in the US and EU on inquiries about receiving concerns at either warehouseSupplier Delivery Performance Reviews monthly supplier delivery performance against committed datesWorks directly with suppliers to address delays, challenge missed commitments, and drive continuous improvement in delivery performanceSupports strong supplier relationships through clear and responsive communication, detailed review of open items, and regular follow-up to ensure alignment on business needs and expectationsMonthly Supply Plan Reviews monthly supply plans with the Manager, shares finalized schedules and price matrices with suppliers, and confirms quantities, pricing, and delivery datesCoordinates quantity or timeline adjustments with internal stakeholders and updates orders systematicallyEnsure all updates are accurately captured in the system prior to order releaseShares order confirmation reports with suppliers against the current month's acquisition planCost Negotiations & Supplier Pricing Collaborates with the Manager to work directly with suppliers on cost negotiations for new product launches and ongoing productionPartners with manager to review price matrices, challenging costs when necessary to align with commercial and financial objectivesNew Retail Product & Special Project Launches Supports new product launches by working closely with suppliers on pricing, production status, and launch shipment schedulesProvides regular launch and shipment updates to cross-functional teams and proactively follows up on delays or risksCommunicates supplier cost details with Merchandising during each stage of developmentWorks closely with the manager on tracking launch statues, including risks and trade-offsSKU Setup Process Owns the sourcing component of the SKU setup process for all new Home & Accessories productsAccurately captures and maintains core master data, including country of origin, price, manufacturing method, and lead timeInvoice Management Partners with the manager to help resolve past-due payments and works closely with Accounts Payable, Receiving, and suppliers on outstanding invoicesInvestigates and resolves purchase order, invoice, and receiving discrepanciesResponsible Sourcing & Sustainability Support with the new supplier onboarding processSupports quarterly supplier base reviews with Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability teams.Coordinates supplier information requests, follows up on areas of concern and collaborates with suppliers on required action plans.Quality & Returns Management Supports with the Return to Vendor (RTV) process in partnership with receiving, quality assurance, and suppliers.Assists the manager with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree requiredExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the drive to independently manage priorities, follow up systematically, and keep cross-functional stakeholders alignedHighly analytical and detail-driven approach to troubleshooting discrepancies, anticipating operational risks, and implementing effective solutionsIntermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Office programs particularly, Excel, Word and Power PointDemonstrated ability to function effectively in a team environmentWilling to work flexible schedule/overtime as neededPreferred Qualifications Working knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects, ERP Systems and Power BIGeneral understanding of finished goods third party supply chain processesExperience managing global shipments with both internal and external stakeholdersThe hiring range for this position ranges from $70,125 - $94,875.
