Community Justice SpecialistJoin our team today and immerse yourself in a rewarding career for years to come!As the Community Justice Specialist, you will work within a community-based treatment program located in Burlington County, NJ.Schedule: Full-time; 40 hours; Tuesday-Saturday schedule - Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 9a-5p; Tuesdays and Thursdays 1130a-8p; Additionally early morning, evenings and weekends as neededSalary: $50,000/yearCompetencies:The potential employee will have the ability to assess and interpret information related to population; have knowledge of the symptoms of the disability/disorder and ability to recognize exacerbation of symptoms; have a general understanding of treatment needs; knowledge of available treatment resources and appropriate use; and population-specific communication skills.Responsibilities:Assist mental health diversion program participants in navigating the criminal justice system.Support participants in complying with court-ordered conditions and individualized treatment plans.Monitor participant engagement in treatment servicesMaintain regular contact with participants, including in-person and community-based meetingsProvide evening and weekend availability to complement case management services and address gaps in service accessibility.Monitor medication compliance when medication is prescribed.Maintain regular contact with participants to promote engagement and stability.Engage with individuals in jail and other judicial facilities as neededAttend interdisciplinary team meetingsCooperate with all investigations, internal and externallyConduct comprehensive needs assessments of participants.Develop individualized service plans and updates as neededProvide direct service support including transportation, coordinating treatment teamMaintain an individual's clinical record (electronically) that accurately reflects all service provided on a timely basisComplete Daily Activities in the Electronic Clinical RecordFollow documentation standards based on state and program requirementsMeet level of service and care guidelines identified by the contract and programProvide additional documentation required for clearance into other judicial facilitiesWork across multiple counties based on program needCollaborating with the Clinical Team, Judicial staff, and other stakeholdersTravel throughout the state of New Jersey, and out of state travel in the tri-state area as neededFacilitate linkages to community-based resources within Burlington County and surrounding areas. meeting; filing applications for services; advocacy; escort to appointment; daily living skill remediation and money management and meets Agency and funding source standardsProvide 24 hours/7 days a week on call crisis intervention on a rotating basis, including evenings and weekends, as needed.Benefits:Competitive base salaryMedical and dental insuranceVision planRetirement planFlexible spending plansEXCELLENT time benefitsOpportunity for personal and career growthTeam oriented environment – we practice the FISH!
