Summary
LogFret seeks a senior level Logistician to join our team. The Senior Logisticians must have extensive knowledge of the job and work experience with logistics support.This position is a cross functional environment that performs transportation and logistics functions as Freight Bill Audit Payment. The duties include evaluating and processing carrier invoices, using various systems and data files. This position will be responsible for problem solving of shipping / delivery inquiries.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the logistical process within operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments.Assists with freight auditing and quotations, and freight/financial reporting as needed.Work with parcel carriers creating call-tags, return shipments and researching tracking information.Troubleshoot and research problems with carriers and facilities as needed.demonstrate logistics problem resolutions, compilation of data on standardization.Work closely with Customer Service, Warehouses, Accounts Receivable, and External Auditors researching shipping/delivery inquiries.Direct experience with coordination of subcontractors and field service personnel to achieve objectives.Handle on hand shipments, returns, reconsignments, refusals, address corrections and invalid account numbers with carriers.Other projects/tasks as assigned.Physical DemandsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.Education & ExperienceAssociates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred.5 years experience in a business environment.Must have experience with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.QualificationsAbility to plan, prioritize and organize tasks.Required a strong attention to detail.Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with internal and external teams.Excellent oral, written and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience providing customer service support in a warehouse environment.RequirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.5 years plus experience in integrated logistics support.Experience using and maintaining warehouse inventory management systems.Knowledge of Item Unique Identification (IUID) registry requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task and apply effective problem-solving skills.Life Insurance.Paid Time Off (PTO).401(k)Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs.Monthly Bonus.About LogfretLogfret is an international freight forwarding company comprised of over 70 owned offices and a network of over 120 offices.
