Job OverviewSCMI1 has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill a vacant Logistician role. The candidate will function in accordance with the equivalent responsibilities of an Engineering Technician IV to provide critical technical assistance to Navy Regional Maintenance Center Project Managers to include:Support resource allocation and scheduling activities.Coordinate mandatory assessment scheduling with maintenance teams.Attend planning sessions to track status and readiness requirements.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssessment Package Development SupportMetrics and Administrative SupportStand-Alone ICMP SupportINSURV Tech. SupportTraining Administration SupportSecurity Clearance RequirementsMust possess, or have the ability to obtain, and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Security Clearance.Qualifications and Educational RequirementsAssociate Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other related field5 to 7 years of shipboard HM&E experienceDemonstrated proficiency with naval engineering key performance tracking metrics, technical writing, and system validation procedures.Ability to read and interpret technical documentation pertaining to critical shipboard assessmentsAbility to coordinate with internal and external stakeholdersFamiliarity with Navy Board of Inspection and Survey proceduresMS Office suite proficiency requiredHave completed, or ability to complete, local RMC Job Certification Requirements training within two years of hire.Familiarity with Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual requirementsAbility to use clear and concise oral and written communicationsSalary is negotiable and commensurate with background and applicable required job experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
