Summary

Job Description As the Quality Associate (Gunner), you will be responsible for measuring and controlling quality levels of both in-process components and finished product by utilizing existing gages, computerized data collection equipment, ballistic test equipment and personal computers. Provide technical support and written reports to Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Services, and Product Development staff. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and is based out of our Anoka Location.Shift and Hours SHIFT Q: 6:00pm-6:00am Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday plus OT as needed. Training will be held on 1st shift for the first 8 weeks.Experience you bring Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work well with other peopleExcellent verbal and written communicationAccurate documentation skillsComputer skills in Word and ExcelDemonstrated ability to make difficult decisionsExcellent Safety RecordFamiliarity with FirearmsYou might have Post High School EducationExperience in the product lines where the opening existsExperience, Knowledge, and Understanding of current inspection/ballistics test methods, procedures, and equipmentUnderstanding of SPC methodsData Entry experienceExperience in a quality control/product validation positionWork Environment Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives.
