Applicants must have completed MPTC Full Time Police Academy or a Post Approved Bridge Academy. Must be POST compliant. Charlton is a non civil service police department.Duties: APoliceOfficerworksundersupervisiontoperformlawenforcementduties,protectinglife, property,andthecivilrightsofindividuals.Primarydutiesincludepatrol;interactingwithcitizensto provideservice and renderassistance; preparingandcompletingrecords, reports, and other paperwork documenting incidents for use in prosecution.
