We would love to talk with you about the next step in your career.Role: Logistician IIWe are looking for a talented Logistician II to contribute to the success of our upcoming Logistics and Sustainment Support Services contract for an onsite role based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain stock records and other documents (inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports)Review and verify quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests and shipping documentsUnload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment per prescribed storage methodsRearrange and take inventory of stored materials, examine stored materials and report deterioration or damageRemove material from storage and prepare for shipment, ensuring supplies and equipment are stored correctly for each type of productConstruct bins, shelving and other storage aids as needed, simplify and standardize collection and use of maintenance dataOperate Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) to track supplies, organizational equipment and spare parts, raising quality and accuracy of performance, cost and parts data through improved maintenance managementRequired Experience or Knowledge5+ years of warehouse operations and automated logistics systems experienceExperience establishing and maintaining stock records, reviewing and verifying quantities received, unloading, unpacking, counting, segregating, palletizing and storing incoming supplies, rearranging inventory, examining stored materials, reporting deterioration, removing material from storage and preparing for shipment, ensuring proper storage by product type, constructing storage aids, simplifying maintenance data collection and raising quality of performance dataIndustry standard technical skills: Warehouse management, inventory control systems, material handling equipment operation, GCSS-Army proficiencyPhysical requirements include lifting and material handlingGCSS-Army training required, must follow prescribed storage methods and safety proceduresPreferred Education/CertificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent minimum (Industry standard)Associate's degree preferred (Industry standard)Security ClearanceUS Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret trust or higher clearance, per contract requirementsOur corporate motto represents our commitment to building long-term relationships with both our clients and our employees by providing the highest quality service in everything we do.
