Performs safety‑related functions such as facilitating drills and checking fire extinguishers to ensure a safe environment.ResponsibilitiesWrite well‑written, detailed reports.Pass annual Firearms Qualifications.Comply with OPOTC continuum of force‑Response to Resistance and Aggression.Locate health system sites by address immediately.Handle multiple tasks or situations as they arise.Maintain high visibility through the hospital to prevent crime and demonstrate a high level of security.RequirementsAbility to read, write and comprehend at the high school level.Ohio Peace Officers Training Program Certificate and current Firearms Qualification.Physical ability to intercept and detain individuals of all sizes.Effective communication in all types of situations.Operate a computer and other office equipment.Maintain current CPR certification throughout employment.LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and may require specific annual educational qualifications related to specialty certifications and standards.Licking Memorial Health Systems is an equal opportunity employer and maintains compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations.
