This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.Main Responsibilities Running a competitive event:Ensure smooth execution of category review and event timelines and processes to deliver on sourcing strategy and other projects such as RFIs/RFQsHelp develop key category documents (e.g., category review, strategy, award recommendations)CollateRFI and RFP responses andvendorfeedback letters; work withcentral sourcing analytics teamto build negotiation docs with manager inputCollaborate with sourcing central contracts team to manage contract paperwork with vendorsLeadinganalysis:Lead and own outcomes on category-strategy setting analyses and cost analytics that set the context of any competitive eventLead and own outcomes of competitive event response analytics to build preliminary views of award scenarios and vendor competencies; push bid analytics forward through feedback framing for vendorsCollaboratewith the central sourcing analytics teamon all analyses, providing the central team with a plan for analysis, nuanced category inputs on analysis prepared by the teamVendor management:Manage vendor communicationsthrough day-to-day activities and competitive events such as launch, kick-off calls, email correspondence includingQ&AAlso manage vendor communications and feedback through sample reviews and other such activities that may be led by other teams outside of sourcingExecuting on the day-to-day:Support with the execution and management of non-competitive event activities such as managing cost changes, product discontinuations/reformulations/artwork changes,new itemsourcing, etcThe position will be based in Boise, Idaho.We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following Preferred degree in: Economics, Mathematics, Food Science, Managerial Economics, or Statistics.Good understanding ofsourcing,manufacturing, and distribution.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with at least intermediateMSExcel skills.Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems/tools.Excellentteaminterpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple tasks while providing superior service.Ability to influence cross-functional teams.Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills including PowerPoint and Word capabilities, including confidence to present recommendations to leadership.Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills.High energy level, initiative, creative problem-solvingability,and sense ofurgency.Ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and on timeStrong curiosity to learn and willing to ask questions as to how we can continuously improve the departmentPassion for the food,retailor consumer packaged goods industry.Experience0-3years' experience and the education listed aboveWe Also Provide a Variety Of Benefits Including Competitive wages paid weeklyAccess to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with StreamAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
