Summary

Job Title

Supervisory work in directing the activities of unskilled and semi-skilled workers engaged in the maintenance, repair, planning, construction, operation and replacement of city facilities and systems; and related work as required

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of full-time verifiable experience in the fields of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, building repair, building maintenance, grounds maintenance, refuse collection, street cleaning work, construction equipment maintenance and/or operations. Some positions in this class may require a current Louisiana Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Selective certification according to the area of specialization may be permitted upon the request of the department.

Kind of Examination

A rating of training and experience, weighted 100%. Positions in this classification with NORDC require a one (1) year probationary period. This is an original entrance examination.
