Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Secret ISSO to sit at Joint Base Andrews. This candidate will join a cybersecurity operations team supporting mission-critical environments where system availability and security are essential. The ideal candidate will assist with vulnerability scanning, STIG validation, remediation tracking, compliance reporting, and cybersecurity audit readiness efforts. Working alongside senior cybersecurity professionals, this individual will gain hands-on experience with ACAS/Tenable tools, RMF processes, and enterprise vulnerability management while supporting some of the nation's most critical defense missions. This is an excellent opportunity for a cybersecurity professional looking to grow within a fast-paced, high-visibility DoD environment supporting "can't fail" operations

Compensation:

$55/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Active DoD Secret Clearance

CompTIA Security+ CE or higher (DoD 8570 IAT Level II / 8140 qualification)

Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of cybersecurity or systems administration experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Minimum 1 year of direct ACAS/Tenable experience

Working knowledge of DISA STIGs and vulnerability management processes

Experience with vulnerability risk levels (CAT I, II, III)

Understanding of POA&M remediation strategies

Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53

Experience supporting RMF compliance requirements Experience supporting USAF, DISA, or other DoD mission environments

Familiarity with eMASS

Experience with SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC)

Experience with HBSS

CCRI/CORA preparation experience

Vulnerability remediation campaign experience

Ability to communicate cybersecurity risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders

PowerShell scripting experience

Experience utilizing Nessus APIs or automation tools

Reporting and scan optimization experience
