Summary
Student Intern Johnson Service Group is looking for a Student Interns for one of our Clients in San Jose. This intern will learn a variety of office skills, including the Microsoft Office suite of programs, GIS, and our Oracle-based database software. This undergraduate student internship will help to administer our Water Conservation programs.Responsibilities Develop the skills and knowledge needed to assist in the implementation of water conservation programs through processing applications and answering the hotline calls.Improve their customer service skills, through communications with customers, as well as oral and written skills, and work on special in-house projects.Assist in the implementation of the Client's water conservation programs.Provide customer service and answering inquiries that come through the Conservation Hotline.Assist in staffing public outreach events and the implementation of long-term programs such as the Landscape Rebate Program, including performing inspections and scheduling appointments and duties.Qualifications General office skills and customer service skills. Computer proficiency that includes knowledge of the MS Office programs and the ability to learn our Oracle-based database. Interest in educating people about water conservation, sustainable landscaping, and water. Currently enrolled as a continuing student in an accredited college or university and carrying at least 9 units per school term, or a recent college graduate. Available to work at least 15 hours per week (Monday through Friday) during the school year and able to work 32 to 40 hours per week during spring, summer, and winter break. Possess a good driving record and valid CA driver's license. Able to lift to 35 pounds on a regular basis.Pay rate: $28.27Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
