JOB SUMMARY
Bristol Motor Speedway is looking for qualified Firefighters to join our event team. This is a seasonal, event staff position.
The firefighter provider will respond to fire and other non-emergency calls. Compensation is based on certification.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL PREFERENCES:
- Knowledge of organization, and department policies, practices, and procedures
- Must have knowledge of firefighting techniques and procedures related to fire suppression.
- Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Ability to operate various fire apparatus, high-pressure hose, safety equipment, and two-way radio.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with BMS staff, NASCAR staff and the public.
- Ability to follow directions effectively, both orally and in writing.
High School diploma or GED and state of residence issued Firefighter I or Firefighter II certifications. After employment, you will be required to attend annual Track Services Training that is offered each year.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required.
- NASCAR Track Services Training is required
- Valid Drivers' License
A copy of your Certification must be attached to your application. Failure to attach your certification may result in your application being reject
