Summary
Key responsibilities- Remove all trash from aircraft and clean and restock all lavatories and soiled magazines
- Clean aircraft floor, galley, all seats, seat back pockets, and tray tables
- Complete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists, including security searches
- Use personal protective equipment, including a face shield & hearing protection
- Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities
- Ensure the operation functions in a safe, caring, dependable and efficient manner at all times
- Perform other duties, as assigned
- Effectively communicate with all hub services agents
- High school diploma, GED or preferred
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to operate a computer/tablet to enter and retrieve data
- Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities including, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces
- Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
- Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal) per local requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need
