Summary
Supervises the loading and offloading of aircraft. Ensures that safe and efficient operations exist at FedEx ramp facilities.
Essential Functions
- Coordinates with other stations on CTV movement and flight following.
- Selects, trains, and motivates hourly employees.
- Supports corporate EEO/AAP goals and objectives.
- Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team LeadOR
Two years management experience (for external candidates)OR
Completion of a certified internalleadership development program, including AiM.OR
Bachelor's degreeOR
Twelve months general FedEx operations experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.
Job Conditions
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents.
Preferred Qualifications: Oversee PM Ramp operations. The posting will close on Monday, September 21, 2026, 5:00 PM CDT.
