Summary

Program Specialist DutiesDuties of the Program Specialist include but are not limited to the following:Implementing new requirements or makes changes to procedures that correspond to new or amended legislation and regulations.Analyzing data and prepares reporting on OSHA debt collection efforts as required by the Chief Financial Officer's Act and specified by Treasury, using key departmental and agency-specific performance measures.Serving as automated systems expert; assisting Area Offices with problems processing OSHA Information System (OIS) and OSHA Legacy Data (OLD) system financial data.Interpreting and applying legislative and regulatory requirements to develop directives for OSHA-wide implementation.Supporting the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) in the annual audit of OSHA debt collection activities.
