UNIT DESCRIPTION
Vision: Protect national and economic security, preserve democratic values, and enforce rule of law.
Mission: Defeat Hostile Intelligence Activities targeting the United States.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a current, permanent FBI employee
- Must be able to obtain an SCI clearance
- Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Monitor the FBI's budget execution process, to ensure the allocation of funds align with the mission and objectives of the organization.
- Consult and advise managers on the development of budget requests and supporting documentation.
- Manipulate spreadsheets and software to track, monitor, input and evaluate trends, obligations and expenditures for budgetary and statistical reports.
- Research, review, verify and develop compiled budgetary information obtained from program managers and/or designated individuals.
- Plan, prepare and develop background and strategy documentation of budget material for presentation to executive managers.
- Analyze, interpret and assess the impact of new legislation on a program or division's annual budget.
