Public Safety Sergeant Wanted

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and an Associate Degree (Or 3+ years of leadership experience in law enforcement in place of the degree) Certified Peace Officer (P.O.S.T.) in good standing Minimum 2 years of law enforcement experience (educational/community policing a plus!) Strong leadership and communication skills

Major Responsibilities/Duties

Lead and supervise part-time campus police officers and security personnel Patrol campus, respond to incidents, and conduct investigations Provide crime prevention education and community outreach Enforce local laws and college policies Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to foster a safe, inclusive atmosphere Embrace flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and on-call assignments
