Assistant Coordinator Of Public Safety

Job Goal: Assists the Coordinator of Public Safety with the daily safety and security operations throughout the school district.

Qualifications: High School Diploma Required. A minimum of five (5) years' experience in the area of school safety and security, preferred. Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children. Excellent speaking, written and interpersonal skills. Capable of training and supervising security staff. Knowledge of communications/dispatch systems and I.D. equipment and procedures. Possesses good human relations, communications and motivational skills. Possesses a valid New Jersey driver's license. Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language. Successfully completes the required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
