The Allen County Public Library is looking for a Part-Time (28 hours per week) Children's Librarian to join our team at the Main Library downtown. You'll plan and lead engaging programs and storytimes, assist children and caregivers with library materials and services, and support outreach efforts and tours. You'll also help patrons navigate technology, online resources, and library tools-all while creating a welcoming, inclusive space where curiosity is encouraged.You'll work alongside a collaborative, people-first team that values literacy, learning, and community connection.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree - requiredAt least two (2) years of library operations experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience)Ability to obtain Indiana Public Librarian Certification LC5 within three (3) years of hireValid driver's license (for outreach activities)Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with children and familiesComfort with technology and a willingness to learn new toolsAbout ACPLAllen County Public Library is a vibrant community hub focused on learning, discovery, and connection.
