Summary

Assisting in the management of the Office of Civil Rights Compliance, the full-time remote Deputy Coordinator, Investigation and Resolution will supervise a team of investigators, ensuring thorough and fair investigations of formal complaints related to discrimination and harassment while contributing to training and strategic planning efforts.Key responsibilities:Assigns and supervises the implementation of resolutions for formal complaints, ensuring compliance with university policies and applicable lawsOversees the training and professional development of investigators, conducting performance evaluations and managing caseloadsConducts outreach and educational programs to inform the university community about resolution processes and compliance with civil rights lawsRequired qualifications:Master's degree in law, social work, psychology, higher education, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in investigations within higher educationDeep knowledge of civil rights laws and policies related to higher education and employmentProven leadership and managerial experienceExperience addressing issues such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
