Ledyard Public Library is seeking a friendly and organized Library Associate to join our team. This position is often the first person our public sees when visiting the library. They provide excellent customer service while supporting circulation and the daily operation of the library.Duties: The Library Associate provides assistance and customer service at the circulation desk and over the phone. They are responsible for circulating items, shelving, and pulling holds. Library Associates also assist with readers advisory, basic technology troubleshooting, and directional/procedural/policy questions. Library Associates may also assist with publicity and displays.
