The Division of Juvenile Justice is recruiting to fill a Juvenile Justice Counselor 1/2 position in Palmer at the Mat‑Su Youth Facility, Detention Unit.What You Will Be DoingThis position provides supervision and services to adolescents in a detention setting who are typically awaiting court appearances where future placement and services are determined.Some of our residents have mild to severe mental health issues in addition to their justice system challenges.As a Juvenile Justice Counselor, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Alaskan youth.
