Public Health Program Specialist Team Lead

Job Title

This is a time limited position.

Job Description

The employee will manage the daily operations of the scheduling call center including but not limited to demographic and insurance data collections, pre-registration, financial, and payment collections. The centralized scheduling team lead would ensure the team maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. Established and maintains positive business relationships to ensure effective and efficient coordination of services to promote department goals and objectives. Always promotes exceptional patient experiences by demonstrating a high quality and professional level of service and educating staff to achieve exceptional standards. Closely monitors the performance of team members and provides regular status reports to the Director. Develops and implements action plans, as necessary, to support department goals and objectives and targets for key metrics. Maintains open communication in financial and clinical departments and with health departments across the state. Develop strong relationships with program leaders to ensure necessary information is shared to achieve performance excellence and resolve operational barriers. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements related to MSDH standards and all applicable Patient Access functions and responsibilities and enforces compliance. Implements a standardized approach across programs and health departments to abide by the policies and meet the goals of the organization. Coordinates the development and delivery of staff training in conjunction with program supervisors. Submits tickets and enhancement suggestions to support efficient and accurate demographic and insurance information is captured and documented. Educates team members on system downtime and emergency management procedures to assure continuity of care and service interruption during unanticipated situations.

Salary

$43,509.31 - $65,329.23 Annually

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience.
