Summary
To support the procurement team, the full-time Procurement Sourcing Associate will lead proposal preparation, contract drafting, and negotiations for goods and services, working remotely while occasionally attending in-person meetings within the greater Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area.Key responsibilitiesManage the end-to-end sourcing process for lower complexity initiatives, including requirements development, RFx creation, supplier selection, and contract administrationImplement sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts to meet business, technical, and legal requirements while ensuring compliance with relevant regulationsAnalyze service and product offerings, manage existing contracts, and resolve discrepancies related to contracts and invoicesRequired qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degreeAt least 3 years of experience in a relevant procurement or technology-focused roleFamiliarity with procurement automation tools, such as AribaExperience managing the complete sourcing process from requirements gathering to contract executionKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and MBE/WBE requirements
