Crossing Guard Position
Lakeland Joint School District is seeking applications for a Crossing Guard at Lakeland Middle School for the 20262027 school year. Schedule: 2 hours per day 7:008:00 a.m. 1:452:45 p.m. MondayFriday during the school year Pay Range: $15.10$17.12 per hour, DOE Job Requirement: Maintain continuous visual and/or auditory awareness of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Identify approaching vehicles and changing traffic conditions. Promptly communicate directions, warnings, and instructions to students and drivers. Stop or redirect pedestrian traffic when necessary to prevent unsafe crossing. Respond immediately to unexpected traffic, pedestrian, or emergency situations. Remain attentive and positioned at the assigned crossing for the duration of the shift. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Application Requirements: District online application Resume Successful completion of an extensive background check (references, recommendations, and criminal history) How to Apply: Applications must be submitted online only.
