One of our clients in Washington Navy Yard, DC needs an Action Officer for a contract position.

• Position: Action Officer
• Location: Washington Navy Yard, DC
• Position Type: Full time
• Travel: 25%

Duties:

• Evaluate new or revised submarine maintenance procedures.
• Evaluate, develop, and implement standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate improvements to quality assurance processes and corrective actions taken as a result of audit findings.
• Manage and coordinate required actions and efforts of a variety of activities.
• Attending meetings and preparing presentations, reporting project status and work commitments.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• A bachelor's degree.
• Two to four years' experience.
• A current or active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of US Navy Quality Assurance programs.
• Knowledge of submarine construction and/or maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of the Navy/NAVSEA organization and interrelationships.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
