Details for Gatekeeperposition:

• $15/ Hour
• 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
• Zero Fees - you'll never be charged for any screening service
• Fast Start Date

Job duties for Gatekeeper:

• Manage all inbound and outbound traffic at the recycling yard, ensuring safe, organized flow and accurate recordkeeping
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and drivers
• Greet and direct visitors, verify identification, paperwork, and material loads
• Weigh trucks in and out, issue tickets/receipts, and record transactions accurately
• Enforce safety rules, site policies, and compliance requirements at the gate
• Communicate with yard staff about incoming loads and special instructions
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and basic administrative documentation
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Gatekeeper:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a recycling or industrial yard preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn scale software systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and move between gate and office throughout shift
• Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and performing physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Able to work safely around noise, heavy equipment, and moving vehicles
