May also be responsible for scanning bags in the manual encode station, pushing stacks of tubs, and straightening bags on the conveyor as necessary.Basic duties include (but not limited):Delivering luggage to multiple locations across the BHS as necessaryClearing baggage jams and ensuring proper placement of baggage on BHS system to ensure proper functionCommunicating baggage jam corrections and luggage assignment updates timelyProperly scanning baggage as necessaryProper use of manual code stationWorking as a team to ensure success of entire BHSRequirements:Must be able to communicate clearly, efficiently and effectivelyMust be able to work with a sense of urgencyMust be able to multi-task and problem solveHours & Compensation:10 hour Shifts/ 40 Hours/ 4 Days Per WeekResponsibilities Responsibilities The technician is responsible for delivering luggage and clearing jams within the airport baggage handling system.
