Gate WorkerProspect Wire is a well-established amateur baseball event company. We have been successfully providing teams, players, and families across the country with the opportunity for advancement and exposure. We operate under the DS Sports Ventures umbrella and currently operate out of Florida, Arizona, California, and Utah. The Gate Worker position is crucial to the success of our events because the people who fill that role are on the front lines of customer service.QualificationsBackground in customer service or other public-facing positionsA functioning smartphone and cameraJob DutiesSet-up and take-down your gate based on the guidelines provided to you in the event Telegram channelCustomers will scan a QR code on an A-Frame outside of your gate and purchase their tickets digitally. You will scan the code provided to them on your smartphone to allow them through the gate.Introduce yourself to each customer and walk them through the process in the previous bullet pointAddress umpires, coaches, and players kindly and remember that they do not need to purchase a ticket to enter. Keeping everyone happy is crucial to a successful event.Additional InformationCandidates must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.Opportunities for travel may be available, depending on the scope of events and organizational needs.Pay is $15/hr.
