We are recruiting to fill a Court Services Principal Management Analyst II position in the Treatment Court Unit to perform advanced professional work in providing technical and administrative assistance to treatment courts to ensure more efficient and effective operation of the courts. Work may involve the creating or initiating programs and projects that do not receive a high level of direction or supervision.
Responsibilities - What you'll do
- Writing and editing of manuals or other case processing procedures, responding to inquiries for specific treatment court program assistance, participation in the development of statewide court automated information systems, evaluating, collecting and verifying organizational and procedural information for specific programs.
- Conducting surveys of court personnel to determine compliance with program standards and enhance program quality, research and analyze program needs, formulate program plans, prepare drafts of program proposals and/or assist in implementing program activities.
- Independently manages a highly specialized complex program or project, with little to no direction. The complexity is reflected in a need for more sophisticated analytical methods and problem solving techniques.
- Defines objectives and strategies for assigned team to provide quality workflow analysis.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or court management and 4 years of professional experience in a related field. Prior knowledge and/or experience in treatment courts is preferred.
Additional experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to lead large committees, design teams and process improvement groups from start to finish.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of modern court management.
- Ability to analyze problems and needs and make effective recommendations.
- Ability to travel to the courts to provide onsite technical and administrative assistance to court personnel (some positions require extensive overnight travel).
